DIY Calculators
The following do-it-yourself calculators are available to compute:
- Margin of Error
The margin of error is a statistic expressing the amount of random sampling error in a survey’s results. The larger the margin of error, the less confidence one should have in the results reported. - Penalty Analysis
A two-part procedure producing a statistic called a “penalty,” which provides a relative indication as to how “Just About Right” (JAR) attributes affect a product’s or a service’s overall liking and/or purchase intent. Penalty analysis shows the amount that the overall liking or purchase intent was penalized by those not in the “Just About Right” (JAR) group.
